Ribbon is Cut at The Elms in Bristol

Chrysalis Center Inc. cut the ribbon on The Elms on Monday August 26 marking the transformation of the former St. Paul Vincent DePaul transitional shelter into housing for homeless veterans. PAC Group was hired as construction manager to renovate the existing 3 story building. The project included converting a 13-bedroom transitional living home into 9 units of supportive housing. The project scope: all new exterior siding, windows, doors and roof as well as all new finishes, a new elevator and a new supportive retaining wall and site work.
Tenants are expected to move into the newly refurbished apartment building in Sept.
