PAC Group was pleased to participate in the ribbon cutting for Mercy Housing and Shelter, Commemorating the completion of the 2nd & 3rd phase of the multi phase project.
Mercy Housing and Shelter Corporation, a non-profit organization sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, responds to the needs of those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless by providing them with food, housing, shelter, education and support services in an atmosphere that respects each person. PAC Group is providing Construction Management Services to renovate two of their facilities. Henry Barnard House is a 35,000 SF facility on the National Register of Historical Places and connects to a larger building with over 55 beds and ability to serves up to 300 people each day for breakfast and lunch. PAC has successfully completed Phase I-a new 5 stop exterior elevator addition Phase 2-a $1.3 million communicating stair and entrance addition. Phase 3-Replacing exterior windows and replacing existing grout with rose color grout to match the existing on the Historic St. Barnard’s House. Phase 4-Adding 37 ductless splits to residential rooms while occupied. These project involve funding from DECD. Future phases include, new air conditioning throughout, new electrical service, and distribution, all new plumbing distribution, and site improvements. All work is being performed while facility is in full operation with a very challenging site. Architect: Capital Studio Architects
