Hamden Incubator Phase 2

The Hamden Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) hired PAC Group to provide Construction Management Services for the conversion of an early 20th century elementary school into a business incubator/start up facility. The building is owned by the Hamden Economic Development Corporation, a non-profit Development Corporation working in close cooperation with the Town of Hamden. The project includes the reuse of and additions to the existing structure including all new roofing, new windows and doors, brick repairs, all new mechanical and electrical systems, interiors design, and substantial site work. Phase 1 was completed in 2017 and Phase 2 will begin in early May. As a business incubator, the facility will be intended for various uses for small business including but not limited to light manufacturing and office uses.
