Citadel City- Barbour Street Redevelopment Project Launch

Mutual Housing Associate of Greater Hartford (MHAGH) has partnered with Citadel of Love, a local church located on Barbour Street, to build Citadel City-Barbour Street Redevelopment. This new development  involves the construction of 3 mixed-use buildings and a moderate rehab of 2 existing buildings. Local dignitaries attended the kickoff of this transformative project on July 15, 2026 witnessing the demolition of a 1,300-sf building on the site of the future Barbour Street Development.  Upon completion, the development will provide 60 units of affordable rental housing and approximately 10,000 sq. ft. of commercial space in three new buildings.  PAC Group is proud to be part of this exciting project as the Construction Manager.
