Renovations at Berkshire School
PAC Group was selected as Construction Manager to renovate the Godman Dorm and Geier Library at Berkshire School located in Sheffield, Massachusetts.
The Godman Dorm renovation was a flash track project involving 25 dorm rooms, 3 faculty apartments and conversion of existing classrooms in basement. The $2.7 million project started June 5 and was completed by August 15 (10 weeks) when students returned. The three story building included all new windows, bathrooms, the addition of A/C throughout, upgraded electrical service, complete gut of faculty housing apartments new front entrances and all new finishes.
The Geier Library is PAC Group’s third project with Berkshire School. The $3 million library project started fall of 2014 and includes complete gut renovation of interior as well as all new exterior windows, Keim System, slate roof, new MEP ‘s and all new finishes throughout. Project is expected to be completed in May 2015.
