The Connecticut Institute for Communities celebrated the opening of its 4th Early
Childhood Education Center in Danbury on January 6. PAC Group was hired as the
Construction Manager for this project. The former Cadillac dealership was converted
into a school for children ages 5 and under. The renovation included a full gut out
of the structure, new roofing, all new exterior windows/storefront and new mechanicals.
The interior was completely renovated to include 7 classrooms with restrooms,
a warming kitchen, multi-purpose areas, playground and required staff areas.
The building will serve 140 students in the organization’s Head Start and
School Readiness programs.
